Eat, Think and Be Merry: Food, Philosophy and Happiness

What does it mean to be happy?

Can joy and fulfilment be found through food?

The way to a person’s heart is often through their stomach, and even the world’s greatest thinkers have pondered the importance of full belly.

Join us for some comfort food for thought, and learn how philosophers worldwide have spent centuries pondering the connection between creature comforts and true fulfilment.

This workshop includes discussions, hands-on activities, take-home resources, and refreshments by Deborah Palmer of A Movable Feast.

Deep thought has never been so delicious!

When: Saturday, November 14 at noon

Where: 87 Up (above Foostuffs), 89 Main St. S, Georgetown

For more information, or to register, please contact amy@enabletc.com, visit www.localphilosophers.com, or call (905) 864-1858 x3.
